We are proud to share that Nadine Wong, our Track Testing Director, was recently featured in the April 2025 issue of ADAS & Autonomous Vehicle International. In the article, Nadine dives into the evolving landscape of Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) testing - especially in light of the upcoming FMVSS 127 regulation.
As the industry moves to align with the new requirements, Nadine points out that there are still several gray areas. From undefined tolerances to a lack of clarity around track setups and lane markings, these gaps raise important questions for manufacturers and suppliers working to assess their systems.
Nadine also shares how DRI is staying ahead of the curve. At DRI, we are not just adapting to regulatory change - we are helping shape it. As a testing house, we have been actively involved in reviewing and providing feedback on draft procedures, advocating for testing that’s not only repeatable, but also effective and realistic for real-world conditions.
