Auto Test Technician

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Test Technician.  The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance and fabrication. Our Company is at the forefront of testing and developing autonomous vehicles, and we need someone who is passionate about this innovative field.

This role requires a strong technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Supports the Test Engineers and test equipment, including mechanical and/or electrical repair and troubleshooting, preparing vehicles for testing, fabrication for specialized mounting brackets or parts, and instrumentation support.
  • Assists with test vehicle shipment, inspection, and repairs.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot robotic platforms and other testing equipment.
  • Remove and replace bumper panels, airbags, vehicle brakes, and other vehicle components as needed
  • Fabricate and weld various mounts and custom parts
  • Safety Compliance: Ensures all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe work environment.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Proficiency in welding and light fabrication techniques
  • Familiarity with robotic platforms and test equipment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment

Must be able to walk, bend, reach, and lift, if necessary 50 pounds or more.
