DRI offers a range of services in vehicle dynamics simulation that enable you to optimize product designs for performance, safety, and comfort. We are also able to augment models using data captured from our laboratory measurement devices and real-world track data. Combined with our depth of knowledge and methodical approach we can help you engineer designs that achieve tangible performance outcomes.
DRI engineers have extensive experience in the modeling and simulation of vehicle dynamics at both the vehicle level, using customer-supplied test or measurement data, and at the subsystem level, using suspension component data. Using both multi body system analysis and finite element approaches we develop, optimize and virtually validate simulation models to support handling performance, suspension design and rollover avoidance/stability control.
We can further refine simulation models using data from our laboratory and track testing facilities, including K&C, center of gravity and moment of inertia data captured from our SPMM test facility, our tire measurement device, or through dynamic track tests at our proving ground.
